EARTH CADETS  Earth Cadets is a company committed to recycling, reducing and reusing.  Our mission is to provide every Earth Cadet with their own uniquely designed and hand screenprinted tote made entirely out of recycled materials. In addition to our 100% recycled totes, Earth Cadets offers an array of organic clothing, accessories and home goods.  All designs are hand printed and/or dyed with love in the Earth Cadets' Chicago studio.

FORME Jenny, Couture Milliner and Owner of Formé Millinery, makes handmade hats for women, men and children.  She creates her hats by steaming and blocking felt and straw over wooden hat blocks.  She is known for taking once admired embellishments and incorporating these pieces into her hats to truly make a one-of-a kind hat.

SOULDIER Souldier constructs beautiful items that are strong and functional from recycled materials and vintage and new fabric

POCK-IT PALZ Pock-it Palz are hand made and one of a kind plush toys for kids, adults, or just about anyone who wants a crazy monstrous new friend! Each toy has a pocket with a miniature friend in it. Every pal design comes in a variety of colors and each is unique. You can also find all sorts of other fun little items including finger puppets, magnets, key chains, and pins that are all handmade!

GIRL WITH  A HOOK  I make freeform crochet hats and accessories, mostly out of my own handspun yarn.  Each item is unique and one of a kind and no patterns are used.

WADDLE AND MOO We are two winsome souls, whose designs are inspired from our love of old books, dusty vintage doohickys, and quirky observations. We love Mother Nature and therefore try to be eco-friendly whenever possible, whether it is using organic cotton, low impact water based inks, and recycled goods. Our clothing and accessories are hand screened and created in Chicago.

SPINAL FUSION My name is Marsha Spaniel, I am a designer/handmaker here in Chicago. I live in an intentional community in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. My resurgence of crafting and handmaking came while recovering from a 'spinalfusion’ surgery in 2004, when my daughter introduced her into the current DIY scene. I have always appreciated and admired all things handmade. Although I have dabbled in all aspects of crafting, my main focus is now jewelry and accessories made from new,vintage and found objects.

THREAD AND NEEDLE Thread and needle incorporates new and vintage fabrics and materials to create one of a kind sewn accessories that not only make your day easier, but more stylish as well.

COURTNEY FISCHER JEWELRY Courtney Fischer jewelry is one girls love of creating pieces that are expressive, unique, and fun with a natural element. Vintage, found, and metal are used with an emphasis on combining color and texture.

ARTSY MOMMA In love with all things retro Stefanie Lin is all about taking discarded vintage dress pattern illustrations and give them a whole new life.  Besides a love of patterns, the girl can sew too!  Purses mainly but you never know what else she will whip up!!

SCHOONER! A handmade variety show!  Fair-weather crafter Carole Plese showcases her talents, presenting sewn, painted, printed, and drawn goodies for you, your baby, and your home.

PAPERSTORE Paperstore is a Product Design Studio co-founded by Carson Fisk-Vittori & Aya Yamasaki in 2009. Our name comes from the idea of working with paper: a basic, inexpensive material that can be transformed into something amazing. We make paper goods including a six month collage calendar, cards, and notepads. We also re-decorate found ceramic wares and glass candles.

REUSEFUL OBJECTS We specialize in creating glassware that is simultaneously beautiful, functional, and environmentally responsible. Each glass is a handcrafted work of art created from a salvaged bottle.
Each bottle is cut, then the rim is ground, sanded, and polished for a very smooth edge. Most of our glasses have an original design that we have hand-drawn, stenciled, and permanently etched (by sandblasting) into the glass.

MOTHER OF HERMES At Mother of Hermes Letterpress I design and hand-print stationery and invitations using antique printing presses and equipment. I specialize in custom letterpressed stationery, tailored to your specific taste and budget.
 
SMARTSY DESIGNS Smartsy provides whimsical hand-drawn greeting cards plus fun t-shirts for the important people in your life. Artists Jenny Domine and Shawna Joachim have been best friends since fourth grade and have stayed in touch over the years through their personalized greeting cards.  Now they are sharing their love of low-tech communication with the world! Whether you’re a sci-fi buff, dungeon master, bookworm, music fanatic or just love smart art, Smartsy has the most excellent designs for you. Come speak geek to us.

BECKY TESCH Becky Tesch creates a Mish Mosh of handmade things with mostly reclaimed/recycled materials, and found objects. Her favorite things to recycle are Biycle parts, rusty stuff and ephemera. Her best work is fanciful but tough looking jewelry, made with recycled bicycle parts. She makes bike chain bracelets, inner tube cuff bracelets, earrings, necklaces and a few other things here and there. Duct tape wallets and purses, tho not recycled, are par for the course! When the materials present themselves, she makes other things, like key hooks, message centers, magnetic photo frames, jewelry organizers, sculptural "art for arts sake" and more!

LEAVES OF GLASS Leaves of Glass is jewelry designed and handmade from sterling silver and vintage beads. I'm inspired by Chicago architecture, junk car lots, color theory, works of fiction, film noir, and the magic that is vintage glass. My designs marry delicate and industrial elements to create a look that's unique and urban, bringing new life to a sparkling piece of the past.

Tyler Poncho Toys is a Madison, WI area toy producer offering quirky, safe products, made in the USA!
Every toy is an original design by our Chief Fluff Brains, Tyler Poncho. Because we consider mainstream stuffed animals a bit dull, we started making our own to keep things interesting. We ensure the most colorful and fun faux fur and plush for all our creatures! We've revamped the traditional teddy bears to provide a refreshing take on the stuffed toy. Our animals our not like anything you've seen out on the market!

MUGGY TUESDAY MuggyTuesday is a partnership of two sisters who live and craft together in Chicago. Combining their creative interests, they make crochet jewelry and hair accessories, as well as jewelry made with recycled glass and felt. Inspired by the natural world, the ladies of MuggyTuesday endeavor to make conscious choices in materials and methods for making unique,  eco-friendly and sustainable handiwork.

KIKU HANDMADE Laurie of Kiku Handmade specializes in silkscreened, fused glass goods including housewares, jewelry, and belt buckles.  Need a wedding present?  She's got it.  Housewarming gift?  Check.  Some eye candy for your own neck, waist or finger?  Yep.  Come check it out.

ZOLA JONES Designer Jason Loper handcrafts one-of-a-kind handbags, messenger bags, clutches, wallets and other accessories using upholstery fabric, vegan leatherette, and other animal and eco-friendly materials.

SHANDY SPARKS Shandy Sparks has a little something for every kind of kid, from hand-beaded dress-up crowns and accessories to the  fantastically fearless Smonsters.  Plush Smonsters are supercute oddballs who specialize in behind-the-bedskirt-beastie removal and closet-creeping-goblin whomping. They're colorful, soft, and cheaper than therapy!

BUMBATINI Once upon a time, a stay-at-home mom was inspired by her two boys and little princess to come up with some cool clothes for her trendy kids. bumbatini was born from this inspiration. You ask, why the name? It comes from my last name Bumbaris combines with my vision of populating the earth with my “tini” shirts on “tini” adults.

PAPER PARASOL PRESS Paper Parasol Press is a small letterpress and design studio a short bike ride away from our home in Chicago, Illinois. We find inspiration in the Midwest, American Folk Art, and our European Heritage. We believe in illustration, sketchbooks, and combining our love for traditional letterpress with modern technology. Paper and envelopes are made with 100% renewable energy right here in the heartland! Now, go write your heart out!

PATRICE MURTHA I produce mid to high-fire porcelain and stoneware pottery for the kitchen and the table, using an electric wheel.  I alternate between porcelain clay for its whiteness, which allows for saturated colors, and stoneware for its durability and ease of use. My glazes are sprayed muliple times and fired in a gas reduction kiln, I find this combination provides rich and varied surfaces. I create simple utilitarian forms and select glazes that compliment the shapes. My wares are economical in expression and rely on craftsmanship and design to convey a pleasure in the making and use.

SUBVERSIVE SEAMSTRESS All of my accessories are made from all "up-cycled" fabrics, recycled from vintage cloth found at thrift stores and flea markets. My goal is to merge unique design with social & environmental consciousness, providing stylish, functional, and durable products that one can enjoy for many years.

SODA  Amy designs and makes all of her pieces in clay and paper utilizing her sketches. The drawings include playful wild wilderness animals, butterfly-filled forests, and romantic robots that simply must have crawled right out of her dreams.  Sweetly applied to porcelain cups, charms and now bowls...meant to inspire the kid in all of us.
